The Orient Star Mechanical Moon Phase RE-AY0002S00B combines refined Japanese watchmaking with elegant mechanical detailing in a sophisticated contemporary dress watch. Part of the Mechanical Moon Phase collection, the watch balances traditional craftsmanship with modern styling, creating a clean and highly refined design suited to both professional and formal wear.
The 41mm stainless steel case gives the watch a balanced and elegant wrist presence, while the silver-white dial creates a bright and sophisticated appearance. The dial features Roman numeral hour markers alongside Orient Star’s traditional stamped-pattern finish, adding subtle depth and texture without overwhelming the clean layout. At 9 o’clock, the semi-skeleton aperture reveals part of the movement beneath the dial, while the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and moon phase display with pointer date at 6 o’clock create a detailed yet highly organised presentation.
Orient Star carefully refined the proportions of the hands to improve visibility, widening the hour and minute hands while shortening the hour hand to avoid overlapping the indexes. The curved tips of the hands extend closer to the minute track, helping improve legibility while preserving the elegant character of the design.
Protected by a dual curved sapphire crystal with SAR anti-reflective coating on both sides, the dial remains highly visible under different lighting conditions while reducing glare. The sapphire crystal exhibition case back further showcases the in-house F7M62 mechanical movement, offering both automatic and hand-winding capability alongside a second hand halt mechanism, 22 jewels, and over 50 hours of power reserve for dependable daily performance.
Finished with a stainless steel bracelet secured by a butterfly deployant buckle with push button, the RE-AY0002S00B balances comfort, durability, and refined everyday wearability.
